What does the session fee cover?
A session fee is what you pay to book a session with me. A session fee covers my time, experience, equipment and talent. The fee is non refundable to anyone who is late or does not contact me before the appointed time. The fee can be reapplied if rescheduling is needed. A refund will be issued if I need to cancel a session.
This fee is separate from ordering your photos. That is a separate cost.
What is your experience?
I have been a professional (paid) photographer since 2005. I have a bachelor's degree in integrated studies with a concentration in photography from Emporia State University in Emporia, KS. I also have a bachelor's degree in mass media with an emphasis in public relations from Washburn University in Topeka, KS. I was a photographer among other positions at Emporia State's newspaper The Bulletin. I worked as a student photographer at University Photography while at Emporia State. I worked as a photographer at Sears Portraits. I was a photographer for the Topeka RoadRunners hockey team. In 2013 I opened my own studio and have been a freelance photographer ever since.
What is the best way to contact you?
The best way to reach me is through my business facebook page. I check it the most often but I also use e-mail. I have a new way to make appointments that sends me e-mails. If you need to reach me quickly you can call my cell phone but text is better than calling because I prefer to have a written history of any conversations.

When are you open?
You can e-mail, text me or message me 24/7. I will respond usually within the hour. You can call me anytime from 7 am to 9 pm. My schedule is always changing so don't hesitate to ask what days I am available. Weekends are when I usually take sessions but I do have my studio availability during the week as well.
How will I get my photos?
Your album will be available on my shootproof page and there you will be able to purchase prints and digital images. Prior arrangements will be made if you get digital images sent to your e-mail.
What is your style of photography?
I don't really think I have a specific style. I like to try new things. I have a lot of experience and patience working with children. My favorite type of photography is more of a photojournalism style where subjects are more natural and have fun instead of being stiff and posed.
