As part of this re-launch of Virgo Immen I have added web design, logo design, marketing and social media re-branding. Honestly I don't know why I wasn't doing this before. I have a bachelor's degree in public relations and I've done all of this for my own business. But now that I am full time in my business I have time to offer these services and I can't wait. I love working with other small businesses and seeing them grow. I know I struggle with trying to plan content, update all of my pages, post to all the groups I belong to, follow up with any quotes I've given, etc. The list goes on and on and that doesn't even include making products and taking photos or editing the photos. It is a full time job. But I have been working on getting a better routine to better manage my time with social media posts, plan out my content well before I post and am organized. And now I want to help others with these tasks that they may not know how to do or just don't have the time to do. If I'm already posting to social media for my own business why not spend extra time helping promote someone else's business?
Like I mentioned, I have a bachelor's degree in public relations. While in college I had to create websites, design logos and graphics plus write press releases. I have been a graphic designer since 2006. I was running the facebook page and twitter page for Reggie the RoadRunner for the Topeka RoadRunners from 2012 to 2014.
I've already been working with some clients on logo designs and love it. I have a client signed up to start a webdesign tomorrow and I've actually had to turn down a few web design jobs because they were needed right away and I don't have availability for from scratch web design until June. As much as I hate not being able to help I know how much longer it takes to design a website from scratch and I just don't have the time to dedicate to such time consuming work. But this doesn't mean I don't have time to take on any template designed webdesign work. I do have availability for that.
